ABOUT DANA
Dana developed her love for music while still professionally training contemporary and Latin/Jazz dance, performing in numerous national and international competitions during which she won several domestic and international awards.
BIOGRAPHYDana speaks Serbian and Italian as mother languages and is fluent in English. Born in Florence, Italy and raised in Belgrade, Serbia she was brought up in a multicultural family. She has always been exposed to traveling and diversity which made her develop curiosity and intercultural communication skills, together with the ability to push herself outside of her comfort zone. Dana decided to dedicate herself fully to the realization of her dreams in music and left her High-School in Belgrade, Serbia after having completed sophomore year to finish High School in California. After her junior year at the Waldorf high school of the Peninsula in California, she chose to transfer to Torrance HS, Torrance LA and become more close to the music scene to best prepare for her dream degree in Music and Music Business for College.
She left her competitive dance club when she was 12 years old to explore music and she started to develop her talent and unique voice after having attended the New York Film Academy Summer Camp on Broadway. She was coached by Berklee School of Music graduate Iva Kostic and was then selected to work with Irena Blagojevic, affirmed jazz singer and author and Maja Louis, eclectic and experimental songwriter and author in Serbia. Last summer 2023 Dana attended Berklee Summer Music Camp and she confirmed that Berklee is her dream school to pursue her music and business career.
